Few brands have both a real-world appeal and the racing pedigree earned by Porsche. And it’s not just on pavement either, as they’ve also won awards in rally and off-road racing. But you don’t have to be a professional driver to get your hands on an off-road ready Porsche, because this 1984 ‘Safari’ 911 Carrera is headed to auction.

Though not actually a race car, this speedy coupe was still customized for all-terrain driving, as the owner wanted something he could take out on the dirt as well as drive through the streets. Some of its upgrades include a lift to give her more ground clearance, custom-fabricated skid plates and bumper loops, and extra driving lamps and air horns. It’s also got some notable changes under the ’73 ducktail engine cover – like a recently-serviced drivetrain, free-flow dual-outlet exhaust, and a performance chip. Best of all, there’s no reserve on the auction, though this pristine all-terrain racer is estimated to go for $70.00-$90,000.
